• Kernel panic that results from a system being out of memory (PSCLNX-6787)
• Kernel crash from a race condition (PSCLNX-6695)

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Sensor 2.7.x for Linux
• Linux: All Supported Versions

Cause

Known issue.

Resolution

Please upgrade to the 2.10.3.x sensor for Linux or greater.  VMWare Carbon Black also recommends testing prior to rolling out upgrades into production.
