How to Create Approvals for USB Devices Using Device Control?

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Web Console: November '20 Release (0.60) and Higher
• Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: 3.6.0.1897 and Higher

Resolution

1. Authenticate into the CBC Dashboard
2. Expand Inventory 
3. Select USB Devices 
4. Click the Approvals tab
5. If a USB device has already been discovered in an environment
   1. You can approve one (or multiple) devices from the USB Devices tab using the Approve button
6. If a USB has not been previously discovered in an environment
