App Control: VMware Tools Stops Working After Uninstalling the App Control Server

Issue/Introduction

After uninstalling the App Control Server VMware Tools stops functioning as expected. 

Environment

App Control Server: 8.1.8

Cause

This is caused by some changes that were made in the 8.1.8 server version.

Resolution

1. We addressed this issue in the 8.1.10 server side release. Therefore we recommend that you upgrade.
2. You will need to reinstall VMware Tools for them to function properly again.
