App Control: Trusted Directory Not Approving Files Listed in Directory

Issue/Introduction

• After moving Windows files in to a trusted directory, the files are not being approved

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

• The Trusted Directory did not have SYSTEM group/user permissions when initially setup

Resolution

• Add  SYSTEM group/user permissions to the Trusted Directory Folder

Additional Information

• Depending on individual organizations methods/setup for creating Windows folders for use as a Trusted Directory, this scenario would be an exception
