Issue/Introduction
- 32-bit systems BSOD upon startup
- Memdump shows "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)" in analysis
Environment
- Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.8.398 and Above
- Microsoft Windows 10 x86
Cause
The sensor is using too much memory and stressing out the system - DSEN-20121
Resolution
- This is currently scheduled to be fixed in the 3.9 sensor.
- As a workaround, downgrade to an older sensor version prior to 3.8.x
