Endpoint Standard: BSOD When Attempting to Launch Edge Application Guard With Sensor Installed

Issue/Introduction

While attempting to launch the Edge Application Guard, the machine crashes and goes to BSOD when sensor is installed.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: 3.6.0.1941, 3.6.0.1979 and 3.6.0.2076 sensor versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

ctifile.sys is the faulting module that causes the BSOD on the machines

Resolution

Upgrade the sensor to 3.7.0.1232 or a later version to resolve this issue.
