Log in to the application server hosting the Console as the Carbon Black Service Account.
Uninstall App Control Server software.
Uninstall IIS
Open Server Manager > Manage > Remove Roles and Features > select the server hostname > Next
Uncheck "Web Server" (IIS) > Next
Uncheck "Windows Process Activation Service" > Remove
Wait for uninstall to complete
Restart the application server.
After reboot, in File Explorer, delete or rename the following folders:
C:\inetpub
C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv
C:\Windows\syswow64\inetsrv
Check any secondary drives for remnants of IIS logs or configuration files
Reinstall IIS
Open Server Manager > Manage > Add Roles and Features > select the server hostname > Next
Add the Server Role: Web Server (IIS) and confirm the configuration matches Server Documentation > Server OER > App Control Web Server Platform: Support Server
Click Next and wait for install to complete. Reboot if prompted
Reinstall the App Control Server software following the Server Documentation > Server Installation Guide > > Installing the App Control Server Software > Installing the Server with a Restored or Reconnected Database
Additional Information
Uninstalling IIS will remove any custom configurations that were previously set.
Uninstalling the App Control Server Software does not remove or make changes to the database.
