Carbon Black Cloud: RDP Logins Delays with the Windows Sensor Installed

Issue/Introduction

1. RDP logins are 10 to 90 seconds slower with the Sensor installed.
2. Login latency problem disappears when the Sensor is placed into "Bypass Mode".
3. The latency may be more pronounced on the first login after a reboot or a new non-persistent VDI instance.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: All Versions Prior to 3.9.1.x
• Microsoft Windows versions: All Versions supporting RDP

Cause

This is issue DSEN-21077.

Resolution

DSEN-21077 is fixed in the 3.9.1.x and higher Sensor versions.
