Does Carbon Black share binary data with third parties through the "Share Binary hashes with Carbon Black" option in the Sensor Groups > Sharing settings?

• CB Response Server: All Versions

Resolution

Carbon Black does not share binary data with third parties through the "Share Binary hashes with Carbon Black" option. This option strictly shares hashes and binary metadata only.

Additional Information

Sharing with third parties is an option available by going to "Sharing Settings" > "Endpoint Activity Sharing" > "Complete Binaries"
