Issue/Introduction

Is SELinux required to allow an Agent to communicate with the App Control Server?

Environment

  • App Control: All Supported Versions
  • Linux: All Supported Versions

Resolution

SELinux is not required for the Agent to communicate.  SELinux is an optional feature meant to enhance security by allowing administrators to have more control over who can access the system.
