EDR: Can The Server Version Running On A Minion Be Downgraded?

Issue/Introduction

Can the version of CB Response Server running on a minion be downgraded?

Environment

• EDR Server: 6.2.4 and Higher

Resolution

There is not a supported way to downgrade the version of EDR running on a minion node.

Additional Information

• In the case of an accidental upgrade of EDR to part of a cluster, the suggested resolution is to upgrade the remaining nodes in the cluster.
• Using yum to rollback the node is not supported, as there is no guarantee there will not be data loss.
