Issue/Introduction

Can the version of an EDR Server be downgraded if it was accidentally upgraded?

Environment

• EDR Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

There is no supported way to downgrade the version of EDR running on a server except a full EDR server reinstall

Additional Information

• In the case of an accidental upgrade of EDR to part of a cluster, the suggested resolution is to upgrade the remaining nodes in the cluster.
• Using yum to rollback the node is not supported, as there is no guarantee there will not be data loss.
