Issue/Introduction

Why does the sensor count not match the numbers shown on the sensor group page?

Environment

• EDR Server: 6.2.1 - 7.3.0 (Formerly CB Response)

Resolution

• Sensor totals can differ between the sensor group listings and the sensor group details.
• Sensor group list displays the number of sensors by any sensor in the sensor_registrations table that has that group_id for that group.
• When clicking on a specific group, the total that is displayed there only reflects sensors that have last checked in within the last 90 days. The total can be affected by clicking on the "Show uninstalled sensors" but only for sensors that have last checked in within the last 90 days.
• The root cause may be a known issue (CB-18154).
