Issue/Introduction

• Attempts to download packages results in error

[Errno 14] curl#35 - "TCP connection reset by peer" 

Environment

• EDR Server: All Supported Versions
• Intermediary such as proxy, firewall, etc. 
• SSL verification enabled

Cause

Intermediary is interfering with the certificates 

Resolution

• Resolve issues with the intermediary to allow unfiltered communication between the server and the Carbon Black repo
• As a workaround, disable ssl verification
  • Edit /etc/yum.repos.d/CarbonBlack.repo
  • Change sslverify=1 to sslverify=0
