Carbon Black Cloud: Poor Performance with Memory Mapped Files (Chrome and Edge)

Issue/Introduction

• Applications that utilize memory mapped files experience slowness after it's initial installation or update. This has so far been seen with:
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.7.x - 3.8.0.722
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

Known issue being tracked under DSEN-19776. 

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Sensor version 3.9.0.2357, which resolved DSEN-19776.
