Carbon Black Cloud: Unable to Upload Hash Using Request Upload Feature

Issue/Introduction

Hashes other than .exe are not getting uploaded to the inbox using the Request Upload option

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud: All Supported Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: Version 3.5.x and Higher

Cause

This is working as designed in sensor version 3.5 and higher

Resolution

• Sensor version 3.5.x and above only allows executables to upload the file
• We have a internal ticket created to improvise the Request Upload feature
• This article will be updated once the feature is available
