Sensor in Bypass Mode and Not Showing in Carbon Black Cloud Console After Install

Issue/Introduction

After installing the sensor it immediately goes into bypass mode and never registers with the Carbon Black Cloud Console

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Supported Versions
• Linux: All Supported Versions

Cause

The COMPANY_CODE wasn't used during install

Resolution

1. Run the command sudo /opt/carbonblack/psc/bin/cbagentd -d '<COMPANY_CODE>'
2. Restart the sensor
