Issue/Introduction

After installing the sensor, the logs are filling up with the message "Error copying UDP DNS response data"

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud Linux Sensor: 2.8.0 and Lower
  • Linux OS: All Supported Versions

Cause

This is a defect in the sensor that was fixed in version 2.8.1 

Resolution

Upgrade to the 2.8.1 and Higher Sensor Version
