Issue/Introduction

Error when trying to add or create a new role "No permissions saved to role. Role contains permissions you are not allowed to grant."

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions

Cause

This happens if the logged in user doesn't have one of the permissions being assigned

Resolution

Confirm that the user adding the role has the correct permissions for what is being assigned
