Issue/Introduction

How to move the modulestore location if the current location isn't big enough

Environment

  • EDR Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

  1. Stop all services on the EDR server
  2. Check the value of the ModstorePath in /etc/cb/cb.conf (default is /var/cb/data/modulestore)
  3. Copy the contents of the ModstorePath to the alternate location
  4. Modify the ModstorePath to the alternate location
  5. Start all the EDR services

Additional Information

The cb.conf values that can be changed in this way are
  • DatastoreRootDir=/var/cb/data
  • PgSqlDataDir=/var/cb/data/pgsql
  • ModstorePath=/var/cb/data/modulestore
  • RabbitMQDataPath=/var/cb/data/rabbitmq
