Issue/Introduction

  • Console shows error 
    Database Inaccessible
  • SQL is filling the drive with memory dumps
  • SQL Logs are full of 
    Attempt to fetch logical page in database X failed. It belongs to allocation unit <ID> not to <ID>

Environment

  • CB Protection Server: All Supported Versions
  • Microsoft SQL Server: All Supported Versions

Cause

The database was not shutdown correctly and is now corrupt

Resolution

  1. Restore the database from a backup
  2. Once restored, increase the configlist by the CLs that are missing: https://community.carbonblack.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/CB-Protection-How-to-Increase-Config-List-Version-Number/ta-p/66815
