CB Protection: Agent Disconnects After Moving to Local Approval

Issue/Introduction

• Agent moved to local approval
• Agent disconnects
• Dascli commands unresponsive on agent

Environment

• CB Protection Agent: 8.x
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

The agent has to query all the changes it needs to make inorder to move to local approval. The current query is not optimal and causes the connection thread to not respond until complete, of which has been noted to take upwards of 15 minutes in certain scenarios.

Resolution

Upgrade to the Protection Agent Version 8.1.6 found here
