Issue/Introduction

How to request that a customer's org is unlinked from a Partner org on Carbon Black Cloud backend after being in a service agreement with a customer of VMware Carbon Black.

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud: All Versions
    • Endpoint Standard (formerly CB Defense)
    • Audit and Remediation (formerly CB LiveOps)
    • Enterprise EDR (formerly CB ThreatHunter)
  • Customer of Partner
  • Monitoring Partner

Resolution

The request must be submitted by the customer and not the partner
The customer should open a Support case with the form filled out and signed.

Additional Information

  • Request must be submitted by the customer and not the partner.
  • Both "wet" (print > sign > scan/photograph) and electronic signatures are accepted.
  • It may take several days for VMware Carbon Black to verify and fulfill the request.
  • This process does not apply to Supporting Partners, to remove a supporting partner please contact the account team.
