App Control: How To Setup Server Integration With EDR

Issue/Introduction

This article describes setting up the integration between App Control Server and EDR Server.

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.1.4 and Higher
• EDR Server: 6.2.3 and Higher

Resolution

1. Setup EDR integration with App Control:

2. Login to EDR with user created for App Control integration.
3. Go to "Settings > App Control Server".
4. Enter Server URL for App Control Server.
5. Click "Save Settings".

Additional Information

If EDR Server is unable to connect to App Control Server:

• Confirm both servers are reachable via ping.
• Setup both respective integrations using Server IP addresses instead of hostnames.
• Confirm both user accounts used to setup integrations are Admin users.
• If disconnect continues, please collect server logs from EDR Server and open case with CB Technical Support.
