CB Protection: Product Configuration Tab Reporting 'A new version' Is Available After Applying Upgrade.

• Carbon Black App Control (formerly Cb Protection)

Issue/Introduction

• After applying version 8.1.0.3546 (Patch 2) upgrade, Product Configuration tab appears with message 'A newer version of the Cb Protection Server is available'.
• Version reported to be available is an version 8.1.0.3324 (Patch 1).
• Issue is not resolved when clicking the Refresh icon in the Console 

 

Environment

• CB Protection Server: 8.1.0.3546 (Patch 2)

Cause

API of the CB Protection Server needs to be refreshed after upgrade is applied. 

Resolution
