EDR: Yara Connector Down and No Rules Can Be Uploaded

Issue/Introduction

No rules can be uploaded via Yara UI - receive "error:unable to upload rule file".

Environment

• EDR Server: All Versions
• Yara Connector: All Versions

Cause

The Yara Connector Service is in a hung state.

Resolution

Restart the Yara Connector Service: 

service cb-yara-manager restart
