Issue/Introduction

  • Parity service repeatedly crashing and restarting
  • Console error "Network error while trying to communicate with Cb Protection Server"
  • ServerLog.bt9 errors:
[4] 15:04:19 (3924 Main) IPv4 bind() error 10013
[5] 15:04:19 (3924 Main) One or more TCP ports failed to start listening. Requesting shutdow

Environment

App Control Server: All Versions (was CB Protection)

Cause

There is another app configured to listen on TCP port 41002 thus preventing the server service from accessing the port

Resolution

Change the other app configuration and remove the port binding to TCP port 41002

Additional Information

TCP Ports 41002 and 41001 should be reserved for use by the App Control services by default (unless configured otherwise during install)
