• Will an account with "read only" permissions be prohibited from seeing the contents of the CLI password field?

Resolution

Viewing the CLI password requires "manage Computers" permissions. Since you are using the "v1/computer" API endpoint, that account needs the "Manage Computers" permission in order to get back the value of the CLIPassword field.
