• Install or upgrade 3.3.0.953 Sensor
• Endpoint rebooted
• System hangs on Windows logo/startup screen
• Logon screen never appears

Environment

• Cb Defense Sensor: 3.3.0.953
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

Under investigation

Resolution

1. Boot impacted system into Safe mode
2. Remove 3.3.0.953 sensor using command line

   Sensor in Policy with "Require code to uninstall sensor" checked
   uninstall.exe /uninstall <CompanyDeregistrationCode>
   
   Sensor in Policy with "Require code to uninstall sensor" unchecked
   uninstall.exe /uninstall
   

3. Install the previous version
