The verb numbers are documented in the Call Formats (COBOL) section of the DML Reference for Cobol manual in sub-sections DB Call Formats (COBOL) and DC Call Formats (COBOL).
For the DB Call Formats, the numbers in the IDBMSCOM(nn) column are the VERB NUMBERs as listed in a JREPORT 008. For example, 35 is a MODIFY.
