Workload: vCenter registration fails due to classless IP address

Issue/Introduction

While attempting to register vCenter, the error is displayed:
 

Error | Unable to Register VC
Action | Please Verify the vCenter is pingable

Environment

• CB Workload: All Supported Versions
• vSphere: All Supported Versions
• Classless IP Addressing

Cause

Classless IP Addresses are not supported. 

Resolution

Change the vCenter IP to a Classful Address
