Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint Standard (formerly Cb Defense)

Issue/Introduction

Why is a Red Toaster notification error message displaying 'Your Request is Unsuccessful' when accessing Workload info for a machine in the Carbon Black Console?

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
    • Workload

Resolution

Currently, this is a known issue relating to Sensors not installed via the Workload Appliance, attempting to access the Vulnerability Assessment feature of Workload

Additional Information

  • This message is an informational message only and does not impact on the functionality of the Sensor itself or any actions taken on it in the console
  • In a future backend version (as yet undetermined), this message will be either amended to display more meaningful information, or removed if the device is not associated with a Workload appliance in vCenter
