Issue/Introduction

What is the Commit Charge on a sensor's dashboard?

Environment

  • CB Response Server: All Versions
  • CB Response Sensor: 6.2.1 and Below
  • Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

The Commit Charge is the total amount of memory in use by all applications on the computer, including memory that has been temporarily paged to disk at the date and time displayed in the Timestamp field.

Additional Information

Sensors will have diminished health scores when the Commit Charge is greater than 50MB. This number will be updated in the upcoming 6.2.2 sensor release to reduce these false positives - CB-24473
