CB Defense: Unable to Toggle Protection to 'ON' with Sensor UI

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to Toggle Protection to 'ON' with Sensor UI
• CB Defense Sensor is unable to start the CB Defense Sensor Service (RepMgr)

Environment

• CB Defense Web Console: All Versions
• CB Defense Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Versions
• Enable Sensor Bypass
• Disable CB Defense Sensor Service (RepMgr)

Cause

CB Defense Sensor is unable to automatically start the Sensor Service (RepMgr) if the service was disabled while the Sensor was in bypass.

Resolution

Manually start CB Defense Service usinga sc.exe, net.exe, or services.msc and disabling bypass by toggling protection to 'ON' with Sensor UI will work as expected.

NOTE: These options will require Windows User Access Control (UAC) prompt for admin privileges.
