CB Protection: 'Header Error' Received When Unzipping Agent Diagnostic Files Using 7-Zip

Issue/Introduction

• When using 7-Zip utility tool to unzip diagnostic files the end result reports "Header Errors"
• "Header Errors" are not reported when using other unzipping tools e.g., WinZip, WinRAR, IzArc

Environment

• CB Protection Agent: All Versions
• 7-zip utility tool

Cause

 Issue is caused by the 7-Zip utility. 

Resolution

• Upgrading 7-Zip utility to latest version may resolve issue.
• Issue has also been reported while running latest 7-Zip version. In this case vendors of 7-Zip utility should be contacted to report issue.
