Issue/Introduction

Install the Windows 6.1.8.80927 sensor hotfix for availability in the UI

Environment

• Cb Response Server: 6.1 or Higher
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

• Copy cb-sensor-6.1.8.80927-win-noarch.rpm to the Response server
• From the location of the rpm, run the following to install the rpm: 

  • rpm -i --force cb-sensor-6.1.8.80927-win-noarch.rpm

• Add the build to the Response sensor builds

  • /usr/share/cb/cbcheck sensor-builds --update

    
     

Additional Information

• For a list of available sensor builds from the UI, run `/usr/share/cb/cbcheck sensor-builds -l`
• The Windows 6.1.9 sensor has since been released and contains the fixes in the 6.1.8.80927 hotfix
