Issue/Introduction

Receiving Tamper Protection blocks when attempting to change Registry to apply STIG V-205737.

 

Environment

• App Control Server: All Versions
• App Control Agent: All Versions

Cause

App Control Agent is blocking modification of Registry Keys.

Resolution

The most efficient method to apply this STIG would be to temporarily disable Tamper Protection on the Agent
