Carbon Black Cloud: Compiler issues with 3.8.0.535 sensor

Issue/Introduction

Under rare circumstances compiler fails with error: "Fatal error, cannot remove temporary file", when 3.8.0.535 or 3.8.0.398 is installed.

Environment

• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.8.0.535, 3.8.0.398
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, 2010

Cause

Race condition between the operation of the compiler and the sensor.

Resolution

Issue is resolved by upgrading the sensor to 3.8 MR4 (3.8.0.722).
