CB Response: Sensor Generating/Sending Incorrect Process Information

Issue/Introduction

While investigating a Watchlist hit the CB Response Sensor may report an incorrect parent process id.

Environment

• CB Response Windows Sensor: 6.1.x, 6.2.0
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

Known issue: CB-18338 - The sensor is generating/sending incorrect process information

 

Resolution

Scheduled to be addressed in the 6.3.0 release for the Windows Sensors.
