Does Upgrading EDR upgrade the base server OS?
Environment
- EDR Server: All Supported Versions
Resolution
Not fully. When the EDR server is upgraded to a newer version, just the EDR application and its associated dependencies receive the upgrade. The base server version (kernel) does not update.
Additional Information
The CarbonBlack.repo can be disabled to prevent accidental upgrade
