EDR: Unable to download 6.2.5 Windows sensor

Issue/Introduction

• In Carbonblack.repo baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/$releasever/$basearch/
• Attempts to download the installer indicate there is not package

  • No package cb-sensor-6.2.5.91203-win available.

Environment

• EDR Server: All Versions (Formerly CB Response)

Cause

The package is no longer in a different release branch

Resolution

1. Open /etc/yum.repos.d/Carbonblack.repo in an editor
2. Change the baseurl line to

   • baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/7.1.0-1/$basearch/

     
      
3. Save changes

4. yum clean all

   
    

5. yum install --downloadonly --downloaddir=/tmp cb-sensor-6.2.5.91203-win
