Hide sensor messages in system tray via CB Cloud Policy

Issue/Introduction

Instructions to hide the sensor message in system tray from popping up for users.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions
• macOS: All Supported Versions

Resolution

1. Login to the Carbon Black Cloud console and navigate to Enforce > Policies
2. Select desired Policy
3. Click on Sensor tab
4. Uncheck the "Display sensor message in system tray" option
   
5. Click Save
6. Sensors will receive Policy change on next check-in

Additional Information

• This will also disable pop-up notifications on endpoints
