Issue/Introduction

How long do entries stay on the Malware Removal Page?
 

Environment

• Cb Defense Web Console: Version .37 (April '18 Release) and above

Resolution

Entries on the malware removal page, both "detected" and "deleted", stay on the Malware Removal page indefinitely.

Additional Information

• When an entry is deleted using the "Delete application" feature in the malware removal page, the entry will remain for historical and audit reasons, and will have a status of "Deleted".
• If a file has been classified as known malware and shows on the "Detected" tab of the malware removal page, The file will remain on the "Detected" tab indefinitely, even after the reputation has changed.
• We are working in improving this behavior in a future release of the backend.
