How to enable the BigFix Enterprise Client Updater parameter

Environment

  • App Control Server: All Versions
  • BigFix Enterprise Client

Resolution

  1. Open Console > Software Rules > Updaters tab
  2. Open Show Filters, add following filter: Name - contains - BigFix Enterprise Client
  3. Check box next to the BigFix Enterprise Client Updater
  4. Select 'Enable Updaters' from Action drop-down, then OK to approve

Additional Information

  • The 'BigFix Enterprise Client' Updater will help approve writes and promote executions associated with the 'besclient.exe' process
