CB Response: cbstats.conf Format Error

Issue/Introduction

• cbstats is not sending data as expected.
• The log of cbstats  can be found in /var/log/cb/cli/cbstats.log.  

           The error, in this case, is  

"No matching metric found for: ''".

 

Environment

• CB Response Server: 6.X

Cause

 cbstats.conf has a comma at the end.

Resolution

1) Open cbstats.conf
2) Find the last part:

# The following should be removed when run on minion node
#    cb-solr_cbmodules_summary.*,
#    cb-solr_cbfeeds_summary.*,
#    cb-solr_cbalerts_summary.*,
#    cb-liveresponse.*,
#    cb-pgsql.*

3) On the minion node, when commenting this part out, please make sure the last metric on the configuration file ends with no comma behind.
