Issue/Introduction
To run a Cache Consistency Check on a selected Agent.
Environment
- App Control Console: All Supported Versions
- App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
Resolution
Individual Agent:
- Log in to the Console and navigate to Assets > Computers > relevant Computer.
- From the Computer Details page > right-hand menu > Advanced > Perform Cache Consistency Check.
- Select the desired level depth for the scan, as well as either of the "Preserve state of changed files" or "Re-evaluate publishers" options.
- Click Go.
Bulk Agents:
- Log in to the Console and navigate to Assets > Computers.
- Check the boxes next to the relevant computers.
- From the Action menu choose Perform Cache Consistency Check
- Choose the relevant Scan Level and desired additional options.
- Click Save.
Additional Information
- The scan is resource intensive, with deeper scans requiring more time and processing.
- A best practice is to run the scan during non-peak hours or when the machine is not in use to ensure it completes in a timely manner.
- The Agent will need to be in a Connected state to receive the command.
