App Control: EventTrace log Grows Outbound

Issue/Introduction

• EventTrace log files as well as others can grow unbound

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.1.x, 8.5.x

Cause

This problem happens when the server service calls a function to get NetworkTraceRolloverSize from the database but fails to access to DB at the time, thus, a 0 value returns.

Resolution

Upgrade to 8.6
