App Control: Error: "The Cb Protection Server Took Too Long to Answer"

Issue/Introduction

• "AD Connectivity issues - The Cb Protection Server took too long to answer. "
• Cannot pull groups in Policy Mapping.

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.0 and Higher

Cause

Slow AD environment. Queries are taking more than 120 seconds.

Resolution

1. Navigate to: "\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\Parity Console\WebUI\include\parity.ini"
2. Change SOAP Call Timeout to "180".
3. Restart services.
