App Control: How to Import Rules Into the Console

Issue/Introduction

This document will walk users through importing rules into the App Control Console.

Environment

App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Resolution

To import rules from the Console perform the following steps:

1. Authenticate into the Console
2. Navigate to Rules > Software Rules > Custom
3. Click "Import Rules"
4. Select "Browse" and select the appropriate .rules file
5. Select the desired options
6. Click "Import"
