Issue/Introduction

vSphere will display the below error after registering the Workload appliance.
  
Error "Appliance unavailable"

 

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud Workload: All Supported Versions
  • vSphere Client Console: 6.5 Version or higher

Cause

Firewall exclusions missing

Resolution

Firewall must be opened for the prod.cwp.carbonblack.io/plugin domain with TCP port 443.
